Established in 1881, in Milan, by Sotteri and Lanzi in order to start an activity in the field of the aromas, after some years - with alternations of associates - it becomes the SOTTERI & Prospero S. A. with seat in Affori (Milan), under the guide of Cesare De Vecchi, who is substituted in the thirties by his son Mario The events follow and in 1978 the ESSEPI logo appears in order to maintain in the initials the memory of the ancient corporate name; the transfer of the productive unit in the town of Cormano is then recent history. ESSEPI carries out an intense activity of research and experimentation placing itself between the most qualified producers of aromas, essences and extracts and whose range is continuously becoming wider and more innovated thanks to the use of the most modern techniques and equipments.
Now ESSEPI, the only company in Italy, works also in an area of absolute vanguard: MICRO.ENCAPSULATION of the flavour and essential oils, a sophisticated technology that projects the Society on the world-wide markets to the service of multinationals in the alimentary and pharmaceutical fields. To this success are collaborating Dr. Dressler (associate since 1972 and legal representative), Maria Pia De Vecchi and her son Luca (respectively third and fourth generation of essences producers) beyond to a team of qualified and specialized technicians. The activity is carried out today in an industrial unit divided into commercial office, production units, warehouses and analysis laboratories /Q.C for the control of the raw materials and of the finished products with the check of quality and of the organolectic and chemical-physical characteristics according to the standards (in collaboration with recognized external laboratories if necessary) It must be emphasized that ESSEPI is the distributor of products MASTERTASTE in the pharmaceutical field and that it has a complete collaboration from this multinational to the solution of many problems of aromatizing process.
